After presenting “A Different Light” to society, the first preview of his next work, Trentemøller has shared “Dreamweavers,” a new preview that serves as the album’s title track.
Danish dream pop master Trentemøller, who came from the cold of electronica, is back with a new preview, “Dreamweavers”, which serves as the second single from the album that will be called “Dreamweaver” and that will see the light next September 13th through his label In My Room.
“Dreamweavers” turns out to be a song that combines his dream pop sound with shoegaze forms that take the song to a terrain that combines psychedelia, pop and guitars, as well as electronic drums. The vocals are by Disa, an Icelandic singer who has been part of the Danish singer’s universe since the album “Memory”.
The video clip has been directed by Jonas Bang using both 16mm film and various video techniques – such as using an old tube television connected to a camera – to create a dark, strange and hallucinogenic effect.
