Travis Scott arrested in Paris for assaulting a security guard

Travis Scott has been arrested in Paris after assaulting a security guard at a hotel, NME reports via The Independent. According to the outlet, Travis Scott was intoxicated at the time of the incident. According to The Mirror, as reported by The Independent, Travis is in police custody while he “sobers up.”

According to the sources cited, employees of the George V hotel called the police to arrest Scott for assaulting a “security guard.” This guard was allegedly assaulted at the time when he was trying to “separate Travis Scott from his own bodyguard.” Police sources claim that when Scott was taken into custody, “he was in no condition to be asked any questions.”

This is the second time this summer that Travis Scott has been arrested for assault. It was last June when Scott experienced a similar situation in Miami.

Travis Scott is in Paris supporting the US delegation at the Olympic Games, like so many American artists.

Travis has just performed in Spain, in two concerts that have violated the acoustic regulations of the WiZink Center, a reason that has earned him a public reprimand from the Madrid venue.
