Toundra They are back with “Rapier”, their new single from 2022, which serves as the first preview of what will be their next album.
The band has released “Rapier”, the single with which they open a new musical stage after four years of record silence. The theme, which integrates the synthesizers in a more protagonist way, is testimony of its new training. The incorporation of Jorge Garcia at guitars and synthesizers has been key to rebuilding and redefining themselves as a band. The song is accompanied by a video clip, and is the first preview of their seventh full-length, “Seven“, which will see the light October 9.
Along with this announcement, the group has revealed the first dates of his new tour, “Siete Tour”. For now, the band will start with dates in Berlin, Zottegem, Siegen and Rabat during this same month. Starting in September, the group will return to the road starting with Andorraand will continue for Berriz (October 24, Berrizko Kultur Etxea 360º), Mos (November 7, Rebullón), Castellón (November 14, Trovam), Barcelona (December 11, Razzmatazz 2), Murcia (December 12, Garage Beat), Madrid (February 5, 2027, But – Inverfest room), Vitoria (February 13, 2027, Jimmy Jazz) and San Sebastian (March 13, 2027, Dabadaba). Even so, there are still more dates to be announced.
Since its formation in Madrid in 2007, Toundra has charted a unique path in instrumental music. After a self-titled debut that quickly gained impact, the band began a trajectory of constant growth that took them to tour the continent’s main stages and festivals. With six albums publishedand the recent incorporation of Jorge Garcia to synthesizers and guitars, the group begins a new musical stage exploring a freer sound.
