Tom Smithleader of Editorswill present its first full-length with two dates in Barcelona and Madrid next April.
The British musician will share with the Spanish public his first solo album, “There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn’t There In The Light”, which will see the light next December 5 through Play It Again. After more than two decades as vocalist of EditorsSmith embarks on his solo career with an album made up of songs that sound like folk, country and romantic ballads. Thus, the April 20 at the Apolo room in Barcelona and the April 21 at the Lara Theater in Madrid.
Tom Smith has led Editorsindie music group, since its formation in 2002. Their first album, “The Back Room”, published in 2005earned them a nomination for Mercury Prize. Since then, they have been releasing more until their most recent release, “EBM”, in 2022. Now, the Briton takes the first step in his solo debut with what will be his first full-length, which he will present with a tour that will pass through Spain.
