Tom Smith (editors) announces a solo album for December

Taking advantage of the second advance of the album, Tom Smith –An known for being the leader of Editors– Announces what will be your first solo album for the month of December.

Next Friday, December 5 will see the light “Life is for living”first solo album by Tom Smith, whom we know above all for being the vocalist and leader of the Banda Editors and for being part of the project Smith & Burrows. The Birmingham musician has announced it taking advantage of the second advance, “Life is for living”, a song that gives title to work.

A month ago we could hear “Lights of New York City”, a song that already showed us the letters of what we could find in this album, which will be totally personal and that has been produced by Iain Archer.

Initially, Smith had thought that this was a new job of Smith & Burrowsthe duo he shares with Andy Burrowswho was a member of We are scientists and drums of Razorlightin addition to being leader of I am Arrows. But finally he thought that these songs were much more intimate and that they could present them in a naked and acoustic way. An album that talks about life in an honest and emotional way, but we cannot hear completely until December.
