Tom Morello will be performing in Mad Cool next week. Now he releases a single in advance of his upcoming album co-written and performed with Roman Morellohis thirteen-year-old son. And it sounds so Rage Against The Machine as usual.
He Next July 12th, Tom Morellowho was a guitarist for Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Lock Up or solo as The Nightwatchman, will perform at the Madrid festival Mad Cool sharing the bill –that day– with Sum 41, Jessie Ware or Black Pumas. At his concert he will review music from throughout his career and possibly present several new songs among which “Union Power” and “They Can’t Kill Us All” are already playing, as well as a version of “Kick Out The Jams” by MC5.
Among the new material Morello will perform, we expect to find the first single from his new solo work. The song, “Soldier In The Army Of Love”, brings back the spirit of Rage Against The Machine, his most popular band and the one that marked a generation with its strong political and combative content.
And it must be said that this “Soldier In The Army Of Love” was performed and written together with his thirteen-year-old son, Roman, who will possibly go up on stage to perform it at one of the concerts.
