Timothée Chalamet sounds like Bob Dylan in a new trailer

The long-awaited Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothée Chalamet, ‘A Complete Unkown’, now has a trailer, or teaser in this case. This means we now know what the ‘Wonka’ actor sounds like in Dylan’s shoes. The film will hit North American theaters in December 2024.

Director James Mangold confirmed last year that Chalamet would be singing in the film. ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’ was the song chosen to showcase the actor’s voice to the audience. It’s clear that Chalamet is a Dylan fan, both in the undeniable vocal resemblance and in the facial expressions he displays on stage.

Timothée Chalamet stars as the influential singer-songwriter during the early 1960s New York music scene as he rises to fame. According to the synopsis, the film will culminate with his historic electric concert at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Joan Baez, Johnny Cash and Pete Seeger will also appear in the film, played by Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook and Edward Norton, respectively.
