Timothée Chalamet has put an end to months of speculation that the actor was really EsDeeKidjoining the “4 Raws” remix.
During the last few months, the networks have been full of theories that claimed that the actor Timothée Chalamet was the one hiding under the mask of EsDeeKida rapper whose face has never been seen. The speculations were based on a single detail: the eyes, the only part of the face that the rapper shows. The comparisons between the two were increasingly extensive: the same look, the same physique and the same movements as those of the protagonist of “Call Me By Your Name”.
But on December 19, these theories were disproved with the remix of “4 Raws”, which premiered with a video in which both protagonists are seen inside a Rolls Royce walking through the streets of London. In it, Timothée Chalamet lowers his mask to reveal his face, while EsDeeKid continues to maintain his anonymity.
This collaboration not only serves to dismantle the theory of the supposed alter ego. It also works as a marketing strategy, which keeps the actor on everyone’s lips as the premiere of “Marty Supreme”, his latest film, and at the same time, reinforces the popularity of EsDeeKid as one of the most popular figures in current British rap.
