“Thought You Were Waving” is one of the songs that clearly shows the eclecticism of the hardcore band Militaire Gun. It has been co-produced by the band with Zach Daweswho is known for being part of the live band of The Last Shadow Puppetsfor being a collaborator of artists such as King’s wooland fundamentally for being the bassist of the band Mini Mansions. Added to this is the participation of Phillip Odom in the composition, who is the band’s guitarist Ivy League. Hence the result is an indie rock song that takes us back to the first Weezer.
“Thought You Were Waving” is the group’s first song after the album “Life Under The Gun” with which the group took an important step towards international popularity. As for the video clip, it was directed by Neta Ben Ezra and produced by Lauren Starr Barlow. The director of photography has been Seth Dunlap.
