Thou present “Suck”, their version for the tribute to Nine Inch Nails

A few weeks ago we reported that the next November 28 they will see the light “The Downward Spiral Redux” and “Best Of Nine Inch Nails Redux”tribute albums to Nine Inch Nails. Now they are Thou who share their participation in the project.

“The Downward Spiral Redux” and “Best Of Nine Inch Nails Redux” They will see the light from the hand of the record label Magnetic Eye Records. In the first, we will find bands completely reinterpreting the legendary album by Trent Reznor and his band. Specifically we can listen to Black Tusk (“Mr. Self Destruct”), Thief (“Piggy”), Grin (“Heresy”), Daevar (“Closer”), High Tone Son Of A Bitch (“Ruiner”), Dreadnought (“The Becoming”), John Fryer & Stella Soleil (“I Do Not Want This”), John Cxnnor & Hexa (“Big Man With A Gun”), IAH (“A Warm Place”), Abrams (“Eraser”), Author & Punisher (“Reptile”), Palehorse Palerider (“The Downward Spiral”) and Between The Buried And Me (“Hurt”).

As regards “Best Of Nine Inch Nails Redux”will contain another thirteen versions of songs from NIN’s career in the hands of as many alternative formations. And the one we can hear is the adaptation of the American metal band Thou, reinterpreting “Suck”, one of the songs that was part of “Broken”which was released in 1992. The Louisiana band combines extreme sounds with heavy sounds in the song, taking the theme to its own terrain. Thou’s latest album to date is “Umbilical”released in 2024.
