Thomas Raggithe guitarist of the Italian rock band Måneskinhas announced what will be his first solo album. Although saying solo is almost frivolous, considering that he will be accompanied by a long list of luxury artists.
“Masquerade” It will be the first solo album by Thomas Raggi, guitarist of the Italians Måneskinand will feature the production of no less than Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine). But it doesn’t end there, rather on the album we are going to find a long list of guests with whom he has given shape to a total of eight songs.
And who are we going to meet in “Masquerade”? Well, take note: Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Maxim (The Prodigy), Nic Cester (Jet), Serge Pizzorno (Kasabian), Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses), Luke Spiller (The Struts), Upsahl and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
With this album, Raggi wants to recover his passion for rock music, counting on some of his great references and some friends. One of the curiosities is that Raggi, Morello and Alex Kapranos will cover neither more nor less “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)”, the classic high energy pop of Dead Or Alive.
The complete list of songs on the album will be as follows:
“Getcha!” (feat. Nic Cester, Chad Smith and Tom Morello)
“Keep The Pack” (feat. Matt Sorum and Tom Morello)
‘Lucy’ (feat. Upsahl, Hama Okamoto and Chad Smith)
“Cat Got Your Tongue” (feat. Sergio Pizzorno)
“For Nothing” (feat. Matt Sorum)
“You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)” (feat. Alex Kapranos)
“The Ritz” (feat. Luke Spiller)
“Fallaway” (feat. Maxim)
