Over the past few weeks, Radiohead fans have speculated about a possible comeback after bassist Colin Greenwood revealed that they had all rehearsed together. Thom Yorke has been asked what he thinks about this and his answer has been clear: “I don’t give a shit.”
The British band’s frontman visited Double J, an Australian radio station, and was asked for his thoughts on recent speculation among the Radiohead fandom pointing to a comeback for the band. “I’m not aware of it and I really don’t give a shit,” he replied.
For Yorke, Radiohead is not a priority. In addition, he clarified that he still feels free to work on his personal projects: “No offense and thank you for your concern,” he added. “I think we have earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or adhere to someone’s historical idea of what we should be doing,” he said.
This confirms the words of Colin Greenwood, who has also revealed that Radiohead’s last meeting was in the studio where they recorded ‘OK, Computer’: “All minds are focused on finishing what they have been doing,” he revealed.
