Thom Yorkesinger and songwriter of the famous British rock group Radiohead is working on the adaptation of “Hail To The Thief”the sixth album by Radioheadfor a new adaptation of “Hamlet”.
The adaptation of the album that Radiohead published in 2003 is intended to become the soundtrack of a new and, we assume, revolutionary adaptation of the classic “Hamlet” of William Shakespeare. As it seems this “Hamlet Hail To the Thief” will be a production that focuses on Hamlet and Orphelia’s awakening to corruption and lies in Elsinore, Denmark. The work will premiere on April 17, 2025 until May 17 in Manchester, and of June 4 to 28 in Stratford
For production, Thom Yorke will be personally responsible for reworking and orchestrating “Hail To The Thief” for twenty musicians and actors who will perform live.
