Under the title of “Communicating music, The different faces of self-management” The fifth edition of the conference will be presented this Saturday, October 26, at the Convent de Sant Agustí (Barcelona). Living Culture Action.

Many of you will know the initiative Living Culture Action for the festival that, nestled in the La Mercé festivities in Barcelona, ​​takes place every year in the Barri de Sant Andreu in Barcelona. Well, this is not the only activity that is organized from the plenary session of this assembly-based and self-managed initiative. Now you will also be able to enjoy, free of charge, a few days of debate and reflection around the concept of “The different faces of self-management.”

Specifically during these days, which will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 8 p.m., you will be able to participate in three round tables to reflect on these topics:

Table 1: Are artistic independence and success compatible? A discussion panel that will feature as guests Louise Samson (director of Hidden Track records) and Edu Libra from the group Las Bajas Pasiones.

Table2: Present and future of women in musical production. This panel will feature the participation of the artist and producer AWWZ, the head of the La Jabalina recording studio, Mer Faleiro, and the artist Claudia Cedeño aka Cecé.

Table 3: Mutualize resources. A table that will revolve around the idea of ​​mutualizing (making something mutual or reciprocal) in the world of music and will feature some of the members of “Producers de Guerrilla.”
