things good things bad and Carlotta Cosials They release two collaborations, “Torre del mar” and “Eras tú”, as part of a double single released that was presented a few days ago.
Knowing each other for many years, the artists things good things bad (Tomás Avilés) and Carlotta Cosials (Hinds) collaborate, for the first time, on a double single. This includes two songs: “Torre del Mar”, with a lo-fi sound characteristic of the Madrid native, and “Eras tú”, a clear solemn antithesis that speaks of the passage of time and having to say goodbye.
Both artists have played with various instruments for the project: a xylophone, a melodica, a tambourine and a Spanish guitar, thus marking a different color to the sound and the usual elements of the album. An album that will arrive on January 22 under the name “Volume 3” and for which he released the first single “Tell me that you think of me” in October. Regarding the origin of these two collaborations, Tomás explains: “Carlotta and I had been wanting to play at making music together for a long time.” “These conversations came from a mutual position of respect, admiration, desire to have a good time and love for a kind of cult Lo-Fi.”
The concert presentation of “Volume 3” will be next February 19 at the Maravillas Club in Madrid. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
