After an initial session in a Los Angeles court, it has been revealed that the mobile phone of D4vd, a singer accused of the murder of Celeste Rivas, contained a “large amount of child pornography,” according to Billboard. The artist was arrested a few days ago and faces life imprisonment or the death penalty.
The dismembered body of Celeste Rivas was found in a Tesla owned by the artist at the end of September 2025, but it was not until a few days ago that he was formally accused of murder, among other charges. This Thursday it was also revealed that, among the 40 terabytes of files that have been investigated, multiple evidence of child pornography has been discovered.
Not many details have been given about the photographs found, other than the device on which it was stored was his own iPhone. The next step in the judicial process will be the preliminary hearing that will begin on May 1 and will last between four and five days.
The American media has also confirmed that all the artists who had collaborated with D4vd have deleted the songs or replaced them with solo versions. Among these, ‘Superbloodmoon’ by Holly Humberstone, ‘This Is How It Feels’ by Laufey, ‘Crashing’ by Kali Uchis and ‘Tangerine’ by Damiano David.
