There will be a new Robyn album, Klas Åhlund confirms

Robyn would publish a new album soon, Stereogum reports. The American media cites statements from the producer and collaborator of Robyn, Klas Åhlund, held last week in the Swedish podcast Nordmark Pod, in which Ahlund confirms the imminent arrival of a new Robyn album. His words, translated from Swedish into English by Stereogum collaborator Scott Lapatine, are: «I just completed a new Robyn album that will come out. Very exciting! I am very proud of him ».

At the moment Robyn has not confirmed the statements of Åhlund, but the author of ‘Dancing on My Own’ is not given to interact with media in communication in social networks.

Robyn has not been separated from music all this time. Only in the last year he has dropped into songs by Jamie XX (‘Life’) or Charli XCX (the remix of ‘360’). However, his latest studio album, ‘Honey’, is already seven years old.

Nor has Robyn dodged the stages, and has recently participated in the 50th anniversary concert of Saturday Night Live, where he performed with David Byrne, or in a Gracie Abrams concert.

‘Honey’, Robyn’s last album, dates from 2018. Then, it happened to ‘Body Talk’ (2010) nine years after the release of this album.
