The Liverpool trio The Wombats presents their new single, “Blood On The Hospital Floor”, a song that they already played live and which is the second preview of their sixth album.
“Blood On The Hospital Floor” is the second album from The Wombats’ sixth studio album, which will be titled “Oh! The Ocean” and that the next February 21.
The song is an automatic classic for the group’s repertoire, a piece full of energy, which functions as a reminder for vocalist Matthew “Murph” Murphy not to overdramatize situations, as he himself explains: “The idea behind ‘ Blood On The Hospital Floor” is that things that may seem difficult in life often have a simple solution. Things are not always as bad as they seem at first. The analogy of cleaning blood from a hospital floor symbolizes cleaning up the mess and moving on.”
Two years after first reaching number one albums in the UK with “Fix Yourself Not The World”The Wombats are back as fresh as usual with the songs that will be part of “Oh! The Ocean”.
