The Wave Pictures extend their September statewide tour

The Wave Pictures is one of those groups that feels very comfortable playing in venues. That’s why in September they will offer up to nine concerts in our territory. Now they are extending the tour with a second date in Zaragoza.

They started by announcing that they would be part of the 25th anniversary line-up of Zaragoza-based La Lata de Bombillas, and now they have announced a second date in the same city to celebrate what is one of the most popular venues on the peninsula.

Every Spanish tour by the British band The Wave Pictures is an adventure across the country, as they usually visit various cities to reach their fans in different parts of the peninsula. They have been doing this since they began their career in the late nineties. And they have always had new material to present.

The pandemic made them slow down the pace, although by May 2022 they were already ready to return with the album “When The Purple Emperor Spreads His Wings”. With the guitar and the voice of David Tattersallthe bass of François Rozycki and the battery of Jonny HelmThe Wave Pictures in the musical universe that was marked by artists such as Modern Lovers, Herman Dune either Hefner.

You can see them in Barcelona (5 September, Razzmatazz 3), Valencia (6 September, 16 Toneladas), Murcia (7 September, TBA), Seville (9 September, Sala X), Madrid (10 September, El Sol), Zaragoza (11 and 12 September, La Lata de Bombillas; 25th Anniversary), Segovia (13 September, Octavo Arte, WIC XV) and Donostia (14 September, Terrazas Kursaal; Boga Boga Festibala).
