He Vic Live Music Market presents the programming of its thirty-eighth edition, which will be held in September with a long list of artists of diverse styles and origins.
Between September 16 and 2, the thirty-eighth edition of the MMVV (Mercat de Música Viva de Vic) will take place, with a long list of concerts that, this year, will consolidate the model promoted by the new artistic direction that focuses on innovation, experimentation and the desire to open questions about live music.
On the poster we will find names like those of Lia Kali, Ginestà, Baiuca, Nacho Vegas, Marina Herlop, Quimi Portet, Giorgio Poi, L’Eclair, Parquesvr or Amaro Freitas & Momi Maigaalthough there will be much more. There will be a total of seventy-two artistic proposals, five co-productions and thirty-five album, live, tour or artistic project premieres. The inaugural concert will be one of our own productions and will be conducted by Lucia del Greco, who will reflect on what “live music” is, combining artistic languages and offering a look at the live experience.

Other musical projects that we can see are the Lluki Valverde project, a new adventure by the saxophonist of La Ludwig Band, Lluc Valverde, in co-production with Primavera Sound; Ozen i Fort, in collaboration with Fabra i Coats and Musika Bulegoa; the concert celebrating twenty-five years of Nacho Vegas’ career, in collaboration with BIME and Monkey Week, and the Del Gesù concert, in collaboration with MIRA.
On the other hand, L’Atlàntida will once again concentrate, as every year, professional activity while hosting the new MMVV Pro 360 pedagogical project. Likewise, the DICE Cathedral, the Església dels Dolors, the Església de la Pietat, La Carpa and El Sucre will remain as stages.
As for international participation, the focus will be on Portugal, France and Italy, which will also host the delivery of the Best New Talent Awards, organized by UPBEAT, the leading European festival platform that promotes emerging talent in the field of world music.
Significant meetings will also be held within the market, such as the fiftieth anniversary of ARC (Associació Professional de Representatives, Promotors i Mànagers de Catalunya); the twenty-fifth anniversary of ASACC (Associació de Sales de Concerts de Catalunya) and the tenth anniversary of MiM (Women in the Music Industry), among others.
