The Velveteers work again with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys)

The trio led by Demi Demitro, The Velveteersannounces what will be his second full-length and, once again, will be produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys).

In 2021, The Velveteers released “Nightmare Daydream”a full-length album produced by Dan Auerbachfifty percent of The Black Keysand published by the label owned by him, Easy Eye Sound. Now they announce again that their new album is once again produced by Auerbach and, for the first time, in collaboration with Patrick Carney –the other fifty percent of The Black Keys–, being the first time that both musicians together produce another artist other than themselves.

“A Million Knives” will be released on February 14 of next year through Easy Eye Sound and will maintain the hallmarks of the Denver trio formed by Demi Demitro, Baby Pottersmith and Jonny Fig. To present it, the band has shared their new single “Go Fly Away”, in which Carney also participates as drummer and Auerbach on guitar and bass. Let’s remember that The Velveteers is a formation of two drummers and a singer-guitarist, so in this song we will find three drummers.

The Velveteers have toured with artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins or Guns N’Roses and right now they are starring in a headlining tour of the United States.
