The Benidorm Fest has revealed today one of its best kept secrets of its next edition, which kicks off on Tuesday of next week. We finally know which artists will participate in each of the two semifinals and what their order will be. And be careful because its distribution can be key.
With some exceptions, RTVE has formed two clearly differentiated groups that will compete for a place in the final on Saturday, February 3. In the first semi-final, which will be held on January 30, almost all electropop is brought together. In the second semifinal, scheduled for February 1, the traditional stands out. And, of those 16, only eight will be able to continue in the fight.
As for the order of performance, Lérica will open the first gala with ‘Astronauta’ and Nebulossa will be in charge of closing it with ‘ZORRA’. The trick of choosing as the closing of the gala one of the songs that is performing best in streaming will be repeated in the second one by Almácor and his ‘Brillos Platino’, which will be opened by María Peláe with ‘Remitente’.
For the third consecutive year, the Benidorm Fest organization chooses who and when performs in the two semifinals, so none of the groups or positions have been created as a result of a draw. This is the final result:
