This coming Saturday, March 28, the event will take place at the Vesta Hall in Madrid “Queens Of The Stage”led by The Spanish Wave and with performances by Admire, El Niño Lord, Cah, Ani Queen and Carmen Lillo after an open call with more than four hundred participants.
The Spanish Wave and Sala Vesta have joined forces creating the event “Queens Of The Stage”a showcase-contest for female artists celebrating Women’s Month in the room and which will have a jury of professionals from the music industry sector.
The Spanish Wave has a female presence in all its festivals, having, on some occasions, brought only women to present outside our borders.
After an open call to all female artists in our country with more than four hundred registered, on Saturday, March 28, “Queens Of The Stage” will present the Barcelonan Admirethe Madrid Carmen Lillothe Valladolid Ani Queen and the coplera-rapper and designer The Child Lord.Cah.
Admire will release their debut album, “Revelation”on April 17. He has participated in events such as Primavera Pro, Reeperbahn (Hamburg), Waves Vienna (Austria), Fiesta Latina (Brussels), PIN Conference (Skopje) or Summer by the River (London). His career has been recognized with awards such as YouTube Music 2024, Best National Video Clip at the Granada Film Fest and PLAY WITH MUSIC 2025 (AW LAB). Her project combines music and choreography, consolidating herself as an emerging female voice with international projection within urban music in Spanish.
Carmen Lillo combines electronics and urban rhythms and has performed at Bigsound Festival, Palacio Vistalegre, Teatro Albéniz, La Sala de Movistar Arena and Club113. With his EP “Pandora”is touring the country.
Ani Queen is one of the emerging voices of Spanish urban pop and has opened for big artists such as Jason Derulo (22) and Omar Montes (24) and at festivals such as Sonorama Ribera 2025, Vibra Mahou 2025, Primavera Sound Madrid 2023, Cosquín Rock 2024, in addition to having represented Spain at Martin Garrix’s JBL Music Academy 2024 in Amsterdam. It was also one of the reservation proposals for Benidorm Fest 2025 and 2026.
El Niño Lord.Cah is an artist, professional dancer and acrobat, illustrator, sculptor and composer. In addition to his career and working with musicians such as Yoyo Bey, Sherry Fino and, his current producer, OZE and Juan Battista, he has designed covers for artists such as Travis Birds, Astola Y Ratón and The Sleeping Philosophers. He also won the AIE award for Best Performer and participated in AIEnRuta Artistas 2025 and Visa For Music 2025 with The Spanish Wave.
Among the participating artists that night, the winner will receive as a prize
– Showcase at an international festival, led by The Spanish Wave, in the second part of 2026
– Concert at MADO (Madrid Pride) on the Queens Stage in Plaza del Rey where, every year, they celebrate diversity through art, with a poster starring women and dissidents who demand, sing and transform
– Concert at the Vesta Hall with Vibra Mahou Stages between September and December 2026
