The second edition of the Boga Boga Festibala, which will be held in Donostia in September. Apart from the already announced programming, a collaboration with the project The Spanish Wave will allow you to present yourself to be part of the festival poster.
The second edition of the Boga Boga Festibala will be held on September 14 and 15 in Donostia with artists such as Mudhoney, Melenas, Lisabö, Gorka Urbizu, The Wave Pictures, Pipiolas, Nine Unknowns, Pinpilinpussies and others.
The novelty is that The Spanish Wave collaborates with the festival to open a call to be able to perform at the Kursaal Terracesa new space that joins the festival this year and celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Congress Palacehosting the programming.
You can sign up for the call at this same link. Although we remind you that will end on July 19 at 11:59 p.m., so hurry up. Those selected will be able to show their talent on the Kursaal Terraces, where the artists who are part of the poster will also perform.
Bogaboga Festibala will feature performances in different parts of the city in the days before, such as the special concert in Kutxa Foundation Tabakalera Clubprogramming in Dabadaba, Keler Stage, Aiete Park, Kursaal Terraces or the Chiilida-Leku Museum.
Rounding out the program will be a series of conferences as a summer course organized in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country that will be celebrated on days September 5 and 6 at Miramar PalaceConfirmed speakers include: Ángel Gómez (director of Canela Party), Nando Cruz (journalist and author of the book “Macrofestivales”), Joan Vich (manager and former artistic director of the FIB), Arkaitz Villar (director of Musika Bulegoa) and Lorena Jiménez (director of La Trinchera).
The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help in the export of emerging artists and bands from our country, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, showcase festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry. The project works closely with booking agencies, record labels, both national and international promoters, with AIE, the SGAE Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Ticketmaster, Live Nation España, Mondo Sonoro and Radio 3 as partners.
