The Smile announce ‘Cutouts’ and share 2 disparate tracks

The Smile -made up, as you may know, of two of the most important members of Radiohead and drummer Tom Skinner- were supposed to be performing at Kalorama this weekend. They will not be able to do so because Jonny Greenwood has suffered a serious health problem following a bacterial infection. However, they are continuing with what seemed to be their pre-established editorial plans.

Today they announced that on October 4th they will release an album called ‘Cutouts’. The successor to their album called ‘Wall of Eyes’ will include two songs that are being released today, joining the already revealed ‘Don’t Get Me Started’ and also ‘The Slip’, which was on the same 12″.

Tracks revealed today are the fast-paced kraut track ‘Zero Sum’ and ambient ballad ‘Foreign Spies’.
