The Sideshows They have released their debut album, “The Sideshows”a work born from the immediate connection between three musicians with a long career behind them: Rich Ragany, Sami Yaffa and Simon Maxwell.
The project was born from a spontaneous collaboration that finds its common point in the desire to make songs without artifice, relying on personal chemistry and decades of shared experience.
The artists, in fact, have been laying the foundations for the project that has just come to light for years. It was in New York’s Lower East Side scene that Sami Yaffa, known for his work in Hanoi Rocksfound Rich Ragany, known for leading bands like The Loyalties either Role Models. A relationship that grew over time through mutual admiration and different connections within the rock circuit, and that today comes to life alongside Maxwell’s rhythmic pulse and experience.
Engraved on the Red Mud Studios in Mallorcathe album brings together ten songs that move between melodic rock, punk and power pop, addressing topics ranging from love to survival and loss.
The result is a debut that avoids easy nostalgia and opts for immediate, honest songs built from the craft, but also from the enthusiasm of those who still find something urgent to say.
