The Revolt responds to the stab of El Hormiguero with animals and music from Tulsa, Alcalá Norte…

Last night La Revuelta asked the public in X not to “miss” the program. A notice, in principle, normal, but that sounded special, at the same time. What happened was unexpected: David Broncano was left without a guest at the last minute, with his body present backstage, and took advantage of the situation to publicly denounce that the event was a veto caused by El Hormiguero. One of many that “have been happening for years.”

The guest, the motorcyclist Jorge Martín, recent MotoGP world champion, goes to the Pablo Motos space next Thursday, and was left without going on stage at La Revuelta shortly after starting to record, after announcing on networks that he was last night’s guest. Motos, it seems, is not going to allow a guest at El Hormiguero to visit another program first.

Instead of the scheduled interview, La Revuelta engaged in historical trolling by broadcasting images of animals for twenty minutes, before the astonished gaze of the audience, while background music by independent artists such as Tulsa, Estrella Fugaz or Alcalá Norte played. The group from ‘La vida canyon’, which has been working hard in X for months to attend La Revuelta, and has just canceled three sold-out concerts due to health problems, couldn’t believe it.

«This is something that is not the first time that has happened. “He has dismantled our program,” denounced Broncano. «We have sometimes hinted at it, it has been happening for years, since we were in La Resistencia. There has always been a lot of play on his part. You don’t know how many times they have moved our agenda and changed our program. It affects us professionally. Today we have decided to talk about it because I think it is the way to make it visible and defend ourselves is to explain it. Broncano has explained that he has been able to make jokes about Motos and El Hormiguero on his program, but that these have never affected his television rival professionally. Meanwhile, Motos has chosen to make plays “from behind.” Yolanda, from the team, was angry and reminded Motos that her time is worth “the same as his.”

El Hormiguero has defended itself from the criticism, explaining that the situation has been “a minor misunderstanding”: “Two weeks before the final, we had agreed to have Jorge Martín exclusively on our program. Today one of their representatives made a mistake by changing the visit they had scheduled with another pilot. After what happened, Dorna, the organizing company of the Motorcycle World Championship, contacted the representatives to resolve the situation. The statement refers to the case of Jorge Martín, but does not talk about others that, according to Broncano, have happened for years.

Among next week’s guests at El Hormiguero are, in addition to Jorge Martín, David Bisbal and Kira Miró. It is not known with what face any of these people will go to the Motos space after discovering what was an open secret in the television industry, that Pablo Motos, to stop the competition, is not afraid to play very dirty, even at the cost of time and the efforts of other professional colleagues.
