The poster for the European Music Day in Matadero Madrid is unveiled

Madrid Slaughterhouse will celebrate the European Music Day with ten concerts that are already confirmed. There will be three days of music between June 19 to 21.

Pablopablo, María Arnal, Depression Sonora, Alizzz, Ángeles Toledano, Rita Payés and Lucía Fumero, Gazzi and Akazie are the musical proposals for the concerts on June 19 and 20 in Matadero Squarewhile the event on June 21 will be in the morning and will take place at the Design Center with performances by Le Parody and The Fantastic Band.

Matadero Madrid, center of contemporary creation of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Area of ​​the Madrid City Council, thus presents a program of DEMM 26, a festival that commemorates the European Music Day, really interesting through eight concerts in Plaza Matadero and two morning music sessions for families in the Plaza de Columnas of the Central de Diseño.

This event, which has become a classic in the Matadero Madrid program since its first edition in 2009, provides a complete overview of some of the artists and styles that are the protagonists of current Spanish music. A mix of genres whose fundamental criteria are quality and the most current news. Matadero Madrid, curated by music promoter Nacho Ruiz, with the collaboration of Heineken® and the complicity in the creation of the visual identity of Oficina Cerrada, will provide a complete overview of our music scene at DEMM 26.

The two concert sessions on Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th in Plaza Matadero will cost 5 euros each and will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. The price for each of the children’s concerts on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, in the Column Hall of the Design Central, at 12:00 p.m., is also 5 euros. With the aim of guaranteeing safe and violence-free leisure and cultural spaces, Violet Points will be installed to inform and raise awareness on the prevention of sexual violence against women, and they will also have communicative mediators in LSE who will provide information in Sign Language to deaf people. On the other hand, all concerts on the Plaza Matadero stage will have magnetic loop equipment, amplified sound and vibrating backpacks.
