The Pains of Being Pure at Heart announce tour in Spain

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have announced a European tour that will take in Spain and Portugal in February and March 2025, to mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album. All this, 5 years after their breakup in November 2019. Tickets will be available this Tuesday at 11am.

The band will play live for the first time since 2012, according to a statement on social media from Kip Berman, with the exception of bassist Alex Naidus, who will be unable to attend due to “(very good) personal reasons.” TPOBPAH will play in Porto, A Coruña, Oviedo, Tarragona, Madrid, Seville, Murcia, Valencia, Barcelona, Zaragoza and San Sebastián.

The group will play their debut LP in its entirety, plus additional songs “from that period”: “I don’t know if we’ll do more (or less) of this in the future. For now, we’re just excited for this opportunity to get together and play these songs that literally changed our lives,” the post concludes.
