The National preview four songs from their album live

We can’t think of a better way to announce a live double vinyl from The National that premiering four songs. “Rome” will be published on December 13 on platforms, double vinyl and also in special triple vinyl format.

Recorded in concert in one of the caveas – a kind of historical amphitheater – in the Italian city of Rome, specifically in the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. Hence the title of the album, which is simply called “Rome”. These songs were recorded there on June 3, 2024. But on December 13 we will be able to hear the entire performance that has been mixed by his collaborator Peter Katis.

In “Rome” The twenty years of history of the American band are reviewed throughout a repertoire that will be collected in a double album on vinyl and on digital platforms. Now, members of the band’s fan club, Cherry Tree, will be able to get a special edition on triple two-color vinyl that will also include five extra songs, reaching a total of up to twenty-six songs.
