The Last Dinner Party announce album with “This is the killer speaking”

The London quintet The Last Dinner Party He became with his first album one of the names of the moment. Now they come back anticipating what will be their second album with the single “This is The Killer Speaking”.

“From the pyre”what will be the second album of The Last Dinner Party, the October 17, 2025 through Island Records. And what better way to announce it than launching a first advance single, “This is the killer speaking.”

The quintet recorded the album earlier this year with the producer Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, Bjork) to work on the continuation of the successful “Prelude to Ecstasy”its debut of 2023.

On the disc, the group comments on the following: “This album is a collection of stories, and the concept of album as myth unites them. The pyre itself is an allegorical place in which these stories originate, a place of violence and destruction, but also of regeneration, passion and light. The songs are driven by the characters, but they are still deeply personal, an event of the common life taken to the extreme pathological. A western dance with a murderer, and the heartbreak laughs at the Apocalypse. It deserves. This album feels a little darker, more raw and more earthly;

“From the pyre” It will include the songs “Agnus Dei”, “Count the ways”, “Second Best”, “This is the killer speaking”, “rifle”, “Woman is a tree”, “Hold Your Anger”, “Sail Away”, “The Scythe” and “Inferno”.
