In the year 2000, the paths of The Jayhawks and Bob Ezrin – producer of artists such as Alice Cooper, Kiss, Heroes of Silence, Pink Floyd and many others – came across the album “Smile”one of his most accessible works. Now, the band reports that they have returned to the studio with Ezrin to work on the songs for their new album.
“Sanctuary Park” It will be the twelfth studio album by the band led by Gary Louris and will be released on August 28 through the independent Thirty Tigers.
Recorded entirely in Canada, this new work deals with Louris’s relationship with the North American country, where his wife was born and whose nationality the American singer and guitarist has recently obtained. The title has to do with the park of the same name, located in Dundas, in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Although “Keeping Our Heads Above Water” is the only song that we can hear from their next album, the group has already released the list of the eleven songs that will be part of the album.
