The Spanish Film Academy has announced the presenters of the 38th edition of the Goya Awards, which will be held in Valladolid on February 10. On this occasion, it will be the actress and singer Ana Belén and the directors Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi.
«When I was little I watched the Goya gala and it was a dream to be part of it. I have seen Ana Belén as a child, her movies… she is an inspiration. Presenting her with a muse like her is a dream,” said Ambrossi. «We do it out of love and respect for a profession that deserves a tribute every year. Hopefully we can convey that,” added Calvo.
Ana Belén, for her part, highlighted: «In this profession you are constantly jumping into the pool. This year we have a very good crop of Spanish cinema, with each film having such a personal discourse… how wonderful to be able to be presenting that. In addition, the three have confessed that they are preparing a fun ceremony with a different brand.
The new edition of the Goya Awards 2024 will take place on February 10 in Valladolid. However, it is not the only project that Los Javis are working on. The directors have revealed exclusively on the La Pija y la Quinqui podcast that there will be a fourth season of Paquita Salas but that the priority is, for now, a possible spin-off of Noemí.
