The independent scene will pay tribute to Los Punsetes

It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, but The Punsetes They are now celebrating twenty years as a band, and they themselves have decided that the best tribute is the one that other artists can give them. And that is what we will find in “Fuck your friends”.

As they sing in one of their songs, “Fuck your friends”although all the artists participating in this double album in which the career of the Madrid band is honored are good friends of theirs. Sonido Muchacho will publish this double work in which we will find around twenty essential names from the state music scene – with some international guests such as Las Ligas Menores –, both veterans and new names.

And it is that listening to Fino Onoyarte, Surfin’ Bichos, Sidonie, Carolina Durante, shego, La Paloma, Menta, Aiko the group, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Mujeres, Joe Crepúsculo. Alizzz, The Planets, Soleá Morente, Hidrogenesse, Verde Prato, The Minor Leagues, Ghouljaboy, Marcelo Criminal or The Star of David covering songs like “Maricas”, “A clean cut”, “Arsenal of excuses”, “Tu puto group”, “Mono y galgo”, “Opinión de shit”, “155”, “Camino” and many others, it will be a true enjoyment. And on top of that all the adaptations mastered by Bob Westonbassist of Volcano Suns and Shellacwrapped in a fantastic cover of Berto Fojo.
