An interview with Nia from last year, on the podcast Here there is kimchi, has circulated these days on the networks, pointing to a beef with Ana Obregón. Apparently, when both were preparing the 2022 RTVE Campanadas, one from Madrid and the other from the Canary Islands, they had to record a spot together for public television that did not go well at all.
As Vertele reports, Ana Obregón would have made the winner of Operación Triunfo 2020 cry. Last October, she had already referred to an incident “with a lady known from the world of television”, but at that time she did not revealed who, so it did not transcend further.
He then said without revealing who it was: “He treated me very badly and I stopped filming. I left crying. I left her alone because she wanted her moment. I left and, when he left, I went out to record.” He specified: “He made me leave my workplace because he made very ugly comments to me. I would have liked to insult her and tell her that she needs psychological help (…) If I don’t appear in the advertisement it is because that lady made my life impossible.”
These statements from October have come to the fore again due to others by Roberto Herrera in which he said that Obregón had not felt comfortable with the fact of having to share a plane “with a young and pretty girl.” Now, Nia did not want to say anything more about the incident, but Ana Obregón did.
Ana Obregón accuses Nia of arriving two hours late to the set and of having hindered RTVE’s work. “Nia arrived two hours later, she didn’t like her dress and had them go find her another one. “I just tried to relax her, but she couldn’t stop crying and didn’t want to film the commercial.”
Adds the former presenter of ‘What are we betting?’: “TVE said that they could not keep the team waiting until the girl’s nervous breakdown subsided (…) The team, which had more than 50 people , she couldn’t eat, and I had a mass for my son (…) The only thing I did was relax her and tell her that we had to record.”
