“The House Painted Blue”, latest preview of the new album by The Wave Pictures

“The House Painted Blue” will be part of the new album by The Wave Pictureswhich they will present in Spain with a tour with various dates.

After the release of “Alice” and “Sure And Steady”, the British The Wave Pictures have published the song “The House Painted Blue”, the third and final preview of their next album. “Gained/Lost” will come out February 27 on the seal Bella Union (distributed in our country by PIAS) and they will come to Spain to present it live. They will play in ten different cities throughout the month of March.

“The House Painted Blue” is a song with an optimistic rock base that seeks to offer a hopeful and transcendent feeling. It is also supported by imaginative lyrics that emphasize colors and are inspired by the literature of Franz Kafka. With guitars that take influences from the Zimbabwean band The Bhundu Boys and in the work of Dickey Betts in The Allman Brothers.

On this presentation tour Spainthe British will play the March 12 in Red Desert of Valladolid, March 13 in Zero Room (Es Gremi) of Majorca, March 14 in The Can of Lightbulbs of Saragossa, March 15 in 16 Tons of Valencia, March 16 in Villains Room of Madrid, March 17 in Razzmatazz 3 of Barcelona, March 18 in Cafe Antzokia of Bilbao, March 19 in Santander Scenario of Santander, March 20 in Stereo Rock & Roll Bar of Logrono and the March 21 in Dabadaba of San Sebastian. In this last concert, the one from San Sebastian, they will feature the local band Thee Eliam as opening acts.
