This coming November will see the light of day what will be the first book published about the figure of the Madrid rapper, singer, musician and cinematographer. C. Tangana. The work is titled “C. Tangana. From raw rap to the red carpet”.
There is no doubt that Antón Álvarez Alfaro is one of the capital names for understanding Spanish music in recent years, with a career that spans two decades and under various mutations such as Crema, C. Tangana, Pucho or El Madrileño, and essential albums such as, among others, “Idol” (17), “Avida Dollars” (18) or “The Madrilenian” (21), as well as his models, various collaborations or his work with the collective Agorazein.
Throughout more than two hundred pages, different aspects of one of the most versatile artists of our music scene are analyzed, from his street beginnings as Crema to his debut as a film director, through his lyrics, his aesthetics, his collaborators, etc. Also included are talks with Alizzz, Child from Elche and Refree.
The edition of the book, which will publish Kultrum Books In a few weeks, the Barcelona native will sign it Joan S. Lunaour editor-in-chief, and the Valencian writer and journalist Joseph de Montfortwho also sign part of the texts in the book. As for the remaining collaborators, the signatures of Yeray S. Iborra, Adriano Mazzeo, Ruby Fernández, Daniel Grandes, Luís M. Maínez and Pere Ortín.
The book will be on sale in physical stores starting November 3in addition to the Kultrum Books page.
