The exit festival announces that Serbia will leave for anti -democratic pressures

Exit Festival – A event that we have been talking about in our environment for months – announces that the next one will be its latest edition in Serbia against anti -democratic pressures that have been receiving time.

Exit festival will be held among the July 10 and 13 We can see The Prodigy, Dj Snake, Solomun, I Hate Models, Trym, Mau P, DJ Gigola, Tijana T, Sex Pistols & Frank Carter, Tiësto, Eric Prydz, Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Indira Paganotto, Sara Landry, Boris Brejcha, Yosuke Yukimatsu, Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, Hurts, Loreen And many more.

But let it be the festival itself that tells us through its official statement:

“Through music, creativity and activism, Exit has connected generations and nations, has rebuilt broken ties and has tended bridges where others have sought to divide. We have won numerous European festivals awards for our country and our region, in addition to generating hundreds of millions of euros in tourist income and international recognition that global experts consider invaluable.

However, since we decided to publicly support Serbia students in their struggle for a freer and more fair society, we have undergone immense financial and political pressures, aimed at taking our fundamental rights to freedom of thought and expression. Despite having been completely excluded from public financing at all levels of government, and that some sponsors have been forced to withdraw under state pressure, we refuse to be silenced.

As a result, this year’s anniversary edition will be the last one in a Serbian where freedom of expression is systematically repressed.

“This is the most difficult decision we have had to take in our 25 years of history, but we believe that freedom is priceless. With this act, we are defending not only to Exit, but the fundamental right to the freedom of expression of all the cultural actors of the world. And we invite everyone to join us in this fight,” said Dušan Kovačević, founder and director of the group of the Festival Exit.

Although we know that we are welcome and receive us with open arms around the world, we owe our audience a last dance in Petrovaradin’s fortress. Therefore, our entire team is more determined than ever to make this edition the most emotional and unforgettable so far.

Exit 2025 will be held from July 10 to 13 in Novi Sad, when, together with students, we will turn 25 years of struggle for a better world. Exit is not just a festival, Exit we are all who believe we can achieve a change. And in the same way that we lit the spark of change together a quarter of a century, today, once again, we defend the right to live in freedom.

If this is really the last exit in the fortress, let’s make it unforgettable. Let’s get the strongest of all, a festival remembered not for its end, but for its unit. For love. And for freedom. “

Tickets are available on the official website of Exit Festival.
