Finally the documentary is released “Who the hell are good night Rose?”. Arrives exclusively for Movistar+ on August 23.
The Madrid band Good night Rose It was a breath of fresh air for the Spanish rock panorama in the 1990s. Jordi Skywalker, Alpha, Juampa, Rubén Pozo and ARACIL ROBER They left their mark with their songs and their powerful directs. However, after the publication of “The Dry Station” (99), his third album, the band disappeared from the music scene, although it never fell into oblivion. Over the years, formation has become a phenomenon of worship and its ashes were born Laziness and Punk.
About five years ago, the director Francisco Gené Cortdirector of “The shoes do not fly” and “The sounds of Malasaña”decided to remember the story of this mythical band in what has ended up being “Who the hell are good night Rose?”. A documentary film that, after several years of work, reveals how the band, its exploits and how it vanished before expected. The director himself has explained what his motivations were to embark on this new feature film: “For more than twenty years I have been thinking about what happened with the band Good Night Rose. I could see them and enjoy in the middle of the nineties, but I wondered why they did not reach the general public.”
The documentary has been possible thanks to Daniel Molinaowner of most photographs and video recordings that appear in it. In addition, it has statements by group members, managers and some musicians such as Carlos Tarque (M-CLAN), Leiva either Jordi Tello (Yogourt Daze).
Now we can finally see it on platforms, specifically Movistar+ The Saturday, August 23.
