The Cure’s concert film will arrive in December

The Cure They have already finished editing and mixing “The Show Of A Lost World”the concert film recorded at the iconic Troxy show in London, held in November 2024. The theatrical release date is now confirmed.

This intimate concert, witnessed by figures such as Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) and actor Pedro Pascal, includes the complete live album, classics from his catalog, and a set dedicated to “Seventeen Seconds” (80). The filming was the work of the British filmmaker Nick Wickhamwho had collaborated on various occasions with Robert Smith’s band.

The film will be released in theaters around the world on December 11although a website still needs to be launched with tickets to attend those screenings. In any case, it will be a more than interesting experience, since the filming includes a total of thirty-one songs, including great hits and all the songs from, as we said, their 1980 album, “Seventeen Seconds”.
