The Cure to release new album on Halloween

Call it Halloween, Samhain, or All Saints’ Day, but mark November 1st in your diaries, because that’s the day it’ll be published. “Songs Of A Lost World”which will be the new album by the British The Cure.

For over a year now, The Cure have been premiering new songs at concerts such as “Another Happy Birthday”, “Alone” or “Endsong”, so the older fans are already familiar with them. Possibly all the ones that have been premiered live are part of “Songs Of A Lost World”an album that, as we now know, will be released on November 1st after several years of waiting.

Several changes in the group’s social networks and the sending of postcards with the title and date have ended up confirming that there will finally be a new album from Robert Smith’s band after “4:13 Dream”released a whopping sixteen years ago. However, for more than five years there had been hints in interviews and statements by the group that they were working on many new songs that would be part of a future full-length work.
