The Catalan music sector joins forces in Act x Palestinewhich currently brings together more than one hundred Catalan artists and professionals. The initiative will organize a series of concerts throughout Catalonia from November 15 to December 23.
The Act x Palestine campaign is a “call for collective mobilization, self-organization and self-management of the various sectors of society.” The result has been, so far, that the world of Catalan music has responded with more than a hundred culture and music professionals mobilized. And this is only the beginning. As a result of all this, we will be able to experience an extensive program of solidarity concerts between Saturday, November 15 – the start date of the campaign – and Tuesday, December 23, with a final Christmas concert in Barcelona.
The concerts will be held in locations such as Girona, Solsona, Berga, Vilassar de Dalt, Alcover, Barcelona, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Vilanova i la Geltrú or Sant Joan de Mollet, among others. Judit Neddermann, Alosa, El Pony Pisador, Lídia Pujol, Pau Figueras, Maria Coma, Vic Moliner, Edna Bravo, Guillem Roma, Carola Ortiz, Gregotechno, Nico Roig, Espora, Helena & Ariadna Masafrets, ROS and Trèvolare some of the groups and artists that will perform at these concerts.
As for the Christmas concert (December 23, Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona) will participate Mushka, Figa Flawas, The Tyets, La Fúmiga and The Friends of the Artsamong others. Among those involved so far we find producers, entities and groups such as Agència Bravas, Allau Management, Associació Mercat Cultural Vallvidrera i l’Ateneu Santboià, Associació Rodautors, Center Cultural Albareda, Empty 6 Pack, Èxits Management, Faro Music, Halley Records, Konvent Zero, La Mare Cultural, Luup Records, Neandertal Produccions, Paral·lel 62, Party Family, Propaganda pel Fet!, Rauxa i Seny – Aula Masafrets, Reafina Festival, Sala Razzmatazz, SapsQue, Say It Loud, Set-Up and SunMusic.
