The Australians The Cat Empire add another concert to their Spanish tour, this time in the Valencian town of Burjassot: on July 8 at the Burjassot Auditorium (València).
This date is added to the five that have already been announced for sale for the month of July in our geography: on the 6th at the Río Babel Festival (Madrid's Caja Mágica), on the 7th in Murcia (Las Noches del Malecón), on the 10th in Barcelona (Poble Espanyol, within the Alma Festival), on the 11th in Santander (Santander Stage) and on the 12th in Santiago de Compostela (Capitol Room).
The Cat Empire They visited us for the last time in March 2023, on a tour that sold out tickets in several cities in the country (Madrid, Santander, Santiago de Compostela and Valencia). In that tour They have already presented themselves with the renewed formation that they have worn since 2022, with which they have begun a new and fresh stage for this formation that continues to be led by two of its three founding members, Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill.
With this new project, The Cat Empire They have expanded both their musical record and their training, but they ensure the conservation of the central DNA of their repertoire, which since August of last year has a new album to draw on, “Where The Angels Fall” (23). In their latest work, in addition to their usual style, they add Afro-Cuban, flamenco, Brazilian, African, Jamaican, mariachi, Polynesian, reggae and even New Orleans jazz influences.
