The Black Keys They have announced their new album, “Peaches!”sharing its lead single. The release of this next album is scheduled for May 1 through Easy Eye Sound/Parlophone Records. The band, made up of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carneyhas presented the first single from the album, “You Got To Lose”. The song was written while Auerbach was caring for her late father, who had been diagnosed with a stroke and esophageal cancer; The topic arose as an unspoken agreement that “it would be nice if Dan had something to occupy himself.”

Recorded live with the entire band, “Peaches!” aims to be the rawest album of The Black Keys to date. “We weren’t making a record. We were just improvising, it was something for us,” he says. Auerbach. “Very primitive, at a time when all the nerves were on edge, just screaming,” he adds. “We were going through a lot of things, trying to lift our spirits. I think my father’s illness made me stop shitting myself and just want to scream for a while.”

To accompany the release of the album, The Black Keys They will embark on a tour of North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
