Jack Osbourne has confirmed that the biopic about his parents, Sharon and Ozzy Osbournewill finally be a reality and its premiere is scheduled for 2028.
The couple’s son has announced that the biopic about his parents will become a reality, with a release date scheduled for 2028. The biopic was first announced in 2021, and will tell the story of the artist and his wife and manager. The script will be written by the Oscar nominee Lee Hall (Rocketman, Billy Elliott) and will be produced by Sony Pictures and Polygram Entertainment.
In August last year, it was reported that the project was still underway following Ozzy’s death the previous month, aged 76. Jack Osbourne confirmed in January that a “phenomenal” lead actor was already confirmed to reincarnate his father. Now, it has been Jack himself who has offered an update on the film through his YouTube channel, stating that “the script is ready and that the feature film will undoubtedly be made.”
