Zowi, Barry B., Nacho Vegas, Martin, The Well Beloved, Laaza and Leonor Watling head the musical poster of the next edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest.
Music will be one of the great protagonists of the 16th edition of Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest with the concerts Estrella Damm. These are fifteen unique and free concerts – between July 24 and August 2 – in which established names will be combined with some of the most stimulating emerging talents of the moment, drawing a fresh, young and constantly moving music scene. The musical section of AMFF It will fill emblematic spaces in Mallorca such as La Misericòrdia or Ses Voltes.
The inaugural concert of this edition will be performed by the singer-songwriter Laura Aznar, Laazaan artist who explores pop and roots music through her own experiences. Another of the essential actions of this edition will be that of Nacho Vegasone of the most influential singer-songwriters of his generation, who will present his new album at AMFF, “Semi-precious lives”. Artists such as The Well Beloved, Alose either Teo Lucadamo.
As in previous editions, the line-up of AMFF will include concerts that will bring together artists from the independent scene such as Zowitrap and reggaeton singer and songwriter, whose figure has transcended music to become a style icon and a generational cultural reference. We can also enjoy the urban pop of Barry B.one of the most prominent and rising voices on the current scene, with a fresh and personal proposal that continues to gain ground.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the performance of Martinthe Basque artist, known for his time in Operación Triunfo, will present his first album at AMFF, “Sunstroke”a conceptual project produced together with Hydrogenesse. Other emerging artists who are making waves and will exclusively visit the island with AMFF and Estrella Damm are Lorna, Teo Planell, Tristan!, Ouineta, parking, Mainline Magic Orchestra.
As a closing of the concerts Estrella Damm of this edition, will feature the performance of Leonor Watlingone of the most elegant and recognizable voices on the national scene, who will contribute his sensitivity and stage charisma to the closing gala on August 2.
