Teo Lucadamo returns with a new label, Bistec Music, and with a new rap collective with a totally humble name: Estrellas del Rap Nacional. Together with Manu El and DAWIT, the author of ‘El Dilema del Rapero Blanco’ has released the hilarious preview of his next project. ‘Stars’ is the Song of the Day.
After the release of ‘London Trip: The Mixtape’, Teo has presented one of his most quotable songs to date, which is also accompanied by one of his best beats, the work of Roy Borland. On a basis that successfully mixes hip hop and rock, which is not easy at all, Teo presents his new group of stars: “This is good rap, monkey anise, iodine pills, gasoline and lead.” To succeed, “Politono National Rap Stars.”
During the song, the three artists are responsible for defining exactly what their music is and what it is not. In addition to not being “apolitical”, Lucadamo makes it clear with his charisma that it is not “electronic music” either, but rather “rock & roll from the Iberian Peninsula.” As in any great satire, a bit of social criticism is needed: “Investors and rentiers are as scary as dentists / This is not music for fascists / It is not for those who jerk off to the Idealist.”
