Tate McRAE unworthy his fans collaborating with Morgan Wallen

Tate Mcrae has published this year his best album, the fun ‘So Close To What’. ‘Sports Car’ is still one of the most listened to songs in the world. However, McRAE now stars in a small controversy when associating with the Country Morgan Wallen singer, one of the main supervants of the moment in the United States.

Wallen spears new album, ‘i’m the problem’, on May 16, and Tate McRAe is one of the invited artists. Specifically, McRAe will appear on a theme called ‘What I Want’, which will be the 4th between 37. Yes, this will be the long Morgan Wallen’s album. Nothing new under the sun, since ‘One Thing at A Time’, Wallen’s previous album, was composed of 36 clues. And the previous one was double.

McRAe, who this year has achieved his first number 1 album in the United States with ‘So Close to What’ -she is Canadian -, seeks to raise her commercial profile collaborating with the current king of the country. However, his fans are less satisfied with his decision, since Wallen drags a controversial past of racism and problems with the law.

A chronology of US Today exposes Wallen’s controversies, including three arrests to endanger public security: one for drunk driving in 2016, another by public poisoning in 2020 and another for throwing a chair from the balcony of a bar in Nashville in 2024. Wallen has also been criticized for skipping the protocol of the COVID-19 in 2020 in a party.

Wallen’s greatest controversy to date has been to release a racist insult in 2021 (the “N Word” in the American context is extremely offensive and socially unacceptable) that caused the suspension of his record contract and that was about to cost the race. Wallen was banned from prizes, radios and playlists, but was compensated with an apology and donated half a million dollars to several African -American NGOs, although those donations were also questioned.

Despite its controversies, Wallen is one of the greatest superstars of the moment in the United States, if not the greatest of all. Wallen is especially popular in the conservative sectors of the country. Tate McRAe fans, naturally, already cry out their disappointment: «We thought she was Britney Spears, but it seems that her mother is Carrie Underwood.”
