Tate McRae is going to return to our country in 2025. The Canadian artist has made a double announcement today: the album she will release on February 21, titled ‘SO CLOSE TO WHAT’, and the tour in which she will present it and which will take to the singer around the world.
‘SO CLOSE TO WHAT’ will include the singles ‘it’s ok i’m ok’ and ‘2 hands’. This second cut was released tonight accompanied by a video clip full of dance, set in a gas station. It’s the Song of the Day.
‘2 hands’ follows the line of McRae’s latest singles: Timbaland’s own drum beats circa 2006 come together with a melody that aspires to pop euphoria. Ryan Tedder and LOSTBOY are the producers involved in this composition.
‘Miss Possessive Tour’ will bring McRae back to the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid, where she already performed last May. The concert will be on May 9, 2025 and, according to the official statement, it will bring “a totally new and daring production.”
Tickets will go on general sale next Friday, November 22 at 9 a.m. on Live Nation, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés. There will also be a pre-sale on Thursday, November 21, at the same time.
‘THINK LATER’, her second album, catapulted the singer to the charts. The biggest of these was ‘greedy’, which reached third position on the Hot 100 and Spotify’s top 1 Global.
