The historic electronic music band Tangerine Dream will be touring Spain again. This time they will bring their Continuum Tour to Granada, Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona.
Tangerine Dream were born as a band in 1967 by Edgar Froese. They are considered pioneers of their genre, with a fundamental role in the creation of the German school of cosmic music (kosmiche) created with synthesizers thanks to such emblematic albums as “Phaedra” (74) and “Rubycon” (75). The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese being the only continuous member until his death in January 2015. Since Froese’s death in 2015, the group is under the leadership of Thorsten Quaeschning (Froese’s chosen successor and the band’s longest-serving current member, having joined in 2005), who is accompanied by violinist Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick. His production has been very prolific, including more than a hundred albums. The last of them, the highly applauded “Raum”February 2022.
